PRESS RELEASE: SAVISION AT MMS 2013: New Features Availability

 08 April 2013 CIO, Infrastructure and Application Experts, IT Manager, Live Maps, news 3 min read

Savision, a Silver Application Development partner of Microsoft and the global market leader of dashboarding and monitoring solutions for Microsoft System Center, today announced its new features that will be on display at the Microsoft Management Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada , April 8 – 11, 2013.

“We constantly strive to improve our solutions for our users to maximize their investment in System Center allowing them to fully benefit from all the features it has to offer” says Diana Krieger, CEO of Savision. “The features, we are launching today, are all based upon customer requirements and these requirements were validated by multiple MVP’s, Microsoft associates and users themselves” she continues.

“Today we are putting to market the ability to continuously keep track of critical business applications, even when people are away from their desk” adds Rob Doucette, VP of R&D. “The Live Maps Mobile Console will be available for iOS and Android initially and Windows Phone will be supported shortly after MMS”,

“Savision is also announcing a free base version of Vital Signs for VMM(Virtual Machine Manager), which natively integrates into VMM, and from there analyzes the Hyper-V environment and provides recommendations to tune virtual machines and hosts for better performance and availability. This free base version will be complemented late fall 2013 with an updated version of Vital Signs for VMM which will automatically implement its recommendations at the click of a button, automating the tasks that operators were previously performing by hand. A cost comparison feature will tell users when it is in their financial best interests to run their cloud in-house and when it makes sense to deploy to a public cloud provider such as Azure.”

Mr Doucette concludes: “It has become a fine tradition to launch our new features at MMS and this year is no exception. We are here with a team of experts, meeting with folks from Microsoft, partners and users. All of this will provide us with valuable feedback for future updates”.
